- manager implementor starts
- it reads the configuration
- it discovers the communication plugins
- it starts the presence framework
- it starts the configured communication plugins (MSN, Yahoo!, Voip)
- the communications plugins login and retrieve buddy lists (where applicable)
- the presence framework pickup on the buddies and fills them in using the addressbook; syncing some data to the addressbook (buddy nickname or buddy icon ...)
- the presence framework setup the communications plugins to the current self status (online, away ...)
